The changes:</p><p>1) If the chapter dissolves, any funds of the chapter would be sent to IPMA-HR national.</p><p>2) Add a conflict of interest clause.</p><p>3) Would allow voting on chapter matters to be conducted electronically.</p><p>4) Would allow the board to set dues as deemed appropriate for operating the chapter.</p><p>Per the bylaws any amendments must be presented to the membership 30 days in advance of a vote. Such studies involve intricate moving pieces and can face special challenges in the public sector. In the Oregon Chapter&#8217;s January 12 workshop session, the key elements of the class/comp engine will be highlighted, along with the tools you’ll want to have in your toolbox to keep your systems on the road. We’ll discuss when to keep the work in-house and when to hire an outside consultant, what communications elements you should plan for in a class/comp project, how classification structures impact other HR functions, and enjoy a scenic drive down the compensation highway.</p><p>The session will be 8 to 11:30 a.m. at Clackamas Community College in Wilsonville. <a

/> v  Understanding How Conflict Occurs:  What is the role of each individual on the path to unproductive conflict?<br
/> v  Communicating Expectations Clearly to Achieve Organizational Goals:  What are the steps and how should we do it?<br
/> v  Managing Behavior after Expectations Have Been Communicated:  what happens when employees aren’t performing as you expect?<br
