You are a strategic, solutions-oriented human resources professional with the ability to deliver day to day assistance with classification and compensation, family medical and total reward projects. Your ability to work with emotional intelligence allows you to adeptly work to understand multiple, varying interests, clients and stakeholders while developing trust along the way. You help drive large scale deliverables and projects by building collaborative, trusting and credible relationships with senior leaders and key partners. Most importantly, you model these behaviors every day.
As a member of the Total Rewards team, you will be one of five highly knowledgeable and experienced Total Rewards experts. Working independently and as part of this team, you will be relied upon as a consultant/influencer and trusted project lead on strategic and day to day Total Rewards initiatives and activities.
What you will do:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for working with departmental directors, managers, union representatives, line staff and the greater Human Resources team to create the new Paid Family Leave program and deliver classification and compensation recommendations, pay equity solutions and program implementation for new total reward initiatives. Leading with a solutions based approach, collaborative spirit, and mutual respect, you will be responsible for partnering across Metro’s vast external services and internal service departments.
