Board adopts revised scholarship program for 2012

Led by Professional Development director Karol Ford, the Oregon chapter IPMA-HR Board at its regular  on September 14 adopted revised scholarship program guidelines for 2012.  The new guidelines are available and are now in effect.

Jim Loeffler elected to Chapter Board

Members of the Oregon chapter last month approved expansion of the chapter board of directors by one seat, as recommended by the Board, and approved the election of Jim Loeffler, Oregon City Human Resources Director, to the position.

President Janet Newport is expected to assign all Board members to their respective committee assignments shortly.  “Jim has volunteered to take on an important position with the Board, and we look forward to working with him as an active participant in our chapter activities this year,” she said.

Membership Approves Amended Bylaws

The bylaws of the Oregon Chapter have been amended to conform to requirements of Oregon law for non-profit corporations by vote of the membership. The newly adopted bylaws are available here [PDF format]
