Bill Tolbert is Metro’s Diversity Program Manager. He received his MA in Cultural Anthropology from The George Washington University. After 3 years in the D.C. area and 20 plus years prior in Denver, he decided in 1990 the west coast was the place to go. Before joining Metro in early 2012, Bill had previously worked for United Airlines, traveling the world; New Season Market for 7 years as the recruiter; and Deputy Director for Diversity and Inclusion for Governor Kitzhaber. Bill has served on the Urban League of Portland Board of Directors for the last 5 years. He is an avid tennis fan and player. Bill currently resides in Northeast Portland with his partner James and their dog Bishop.

IPMA-HR Oregon Chapter is pleased to recognize Diana Mejia, Personnel Analyst with the City of Grants Pass, Oregon, who achieved the internationally recognized IPMA-CP Certification in June 2013.
