PECBA 101 Training Rescheduled for March 10

The PECBA 101 class originally rescheduled for January, and postponed twice due to inclement weather, will be held Friday, March 10, in Tualatin’s Police Department Training Room.

This class is an overview of PECBA and how to navigate the statute and bargain more effectively within the parameters of the Act. Presenters Diana Moffatt and Steve Herron are highly experienced negotiators and will give you helpful tips and information on how to navigate the collective bargaining process. It’s a great training experience for HR managers and other management personnel who will sit on your bargaining team.

Weather Forces Cancellation of Friday Training

The presentation scheduled for Friday, February 3, has been cancelled due to inclement weather–what Chapter President Jim Loeffler called “the consistent threat of freezing rain in tonight and tomorrow’s forecast” in an e-mail to the chapter board this morning.

The chapter will again attempt to reschedule this training, which was itself scheduled for January but cancelled due to weather conditions in northern Oregon. Chapter members should look for more details about training class schedules in subsequent e-mail and on this web site.
