Newly Named HR Certified Professionals

Congratulations to two Oregonians for achieving IPMA Certified Professional Designations in July.   Among the 36 approved for designation last month were Ron Zito, Labor Relations Program Manager for Metro (and Oregon Chapter Board member), and Jody Hathaway, Human Resources/Finance Manager for Emergency Communications of Southern Oregon.

Chapter members receive IPMA-CP designation

IPMA-HR Oregon Chapter is pleased to recognize two of our chapter members who achieved the internationally recognized IPMA-CP Certification in December 2013. Congratulations to Kelli Gallippi and Karol Ford.

Karol Ford, IPMA-CP and SPHR, currently works as the Labor and Employee Relations Analyst with Metro in Portland Oregon. She has worked for Metro for 15 years, previously serving as the Recruitment and Selection and Staff Development Manager. Karol has served on the IPMA-HR Oregon Chapter board of directors since July 2012.

Kelli Gallippi, IPMA-CP, currently works as the Administrative Analyst for the Central Human Resources Unit and HR Director of Multnomah County. She’s been with the County for 16 years, 8 of that in HR. She had a previous non-HR career working with delinquent youth in the community for the Department of Community Justice, and other social agencies for 13 years.

Registration Open: IPMA Competency Training

In partnership with Metro and Multnomah County, IPMA-HR Oregon Chapter is offering a 4-1/2 day IPMA Certified Professional (CP) certification program and certification test. This is an internationally recognized public-sector HR certification program.  Space is limited.  This will be the only IPMA Competency Training being offered this year in Oregon so don’t miss your opportunity.  Be sure to sign up quickly once registration is opened.

IPMA-HR Certification Recipient

The Oregon Chapter is pleased to recognize one of our chapter members who recently achieved the internationally recognized IPMA-CP Certification. Congratulations to Judy Clark of HR Answers for this accomplishment.

 

New IPMA-HR Certified Professional

Janet Newport, Assistant to the City Manager/Human Resources Director for the City of Silverton, received her certified professional designation from IPMA-HR.   Executive Director Neil Reichenberg announced that 19 individuals received IPMA-CP designations in January.
